Cold Laser Therapy (also known as low-level light therapy or LLLT) uses low levels of light to stimulate healing without heating the body’s tissues.
How It Works?
Different wavelengths and outputs of low-level light are applied directly to a targeted area. The body’s tissues absorb the red and near-infrared light, which causes a reaction in the cells that promotes regeneration.
Uses
Minor injuries and sprains
Inflammation
Aches and pains
Skin rejuvenation
Wound healing
What To Expect
Cold Laser Therapy is painless and non-invasive. A flexible pad with built-in lights is applied over larger areas for a 6-8 minute treatment. For smaller areas, a light probe will be applied by a therapist for 2-4 minutes.
